Pendleton - The Pendleton Town Council has started exploring the idea at a new town police station after two council members expressed concern with the current shop.

At the regularly scheduled council meeting March 7, board member John Armington said after visiting the station, he felt it was time for new digs.

“I’ve been visiting the chief at his offices,” Armington said. “And I think it’s time we take a good, hard look at what they’re subject to.”
