The Pendleton Police Department filed the following charges recently:

Monday, April 2

Kerri Rummell, 29, of Pendleton, was arrested at 1:52 a.m. at the Madison County Jail on a charge of operating while intoxicated. According to police reports, officer Mike Alford at about 1:08 a.m. observed a vehicle driving around the south side of Pendleton, where the vehicle was stopped for several minutes at a stop sign with no other vehicles nearby, and later, while making a turn, drove into the wrong lane of traffic. After stopping the vehicle at Water Street and Ind. 67, Alford stated he noticed the odor of an alcoholic beverage. According to the police report, the driver failed several field sobriety tests, tested .16 percent on a portable breath test and then tested .19 percent at the Madison County Jail, where she agreed to go to be tested. She was then arrested.
