PENDLETON – The Spring Valley Quilt Guild will conduct its annual quilt show and raffle during the Heritage Fair and Fall Festival this weekend.
The 33rd annual event will showcase more than 100 quilts at the Pendleton Historical Museum. Quilts in the Park Show Chairwoman Judy Tescher said the event is a fundraiser for the location that hosts the show.
“All the money raised goes to the museum,” Tescher said. “This show is a major funding resource for them. The money we help bring in is about a fourth to a third of their annual budget.”
Admission is $4 at the door.
“We’ve raised more than $33,000 for the museum since the show’s inception,” Tescher said.
The show runs Sept. 4-7. It is open 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Sept. 4-6 and 1-4 p.m. Sept. 7.
