Pendleton - Construction on a long awaited roundabout has finally been scheduled for spring, according to officials at the Indiana Department of Transportation.
Slotted to be built on Ind. 38 and CR 300W, between Pendleton Heights High School and Pendleton Heights Middle School, the roundabout will ease traffic congestion and help curb a “serious” safety concern in the area.
“The latest information I have shows that it’s going to letting in March,” said Nathan Riggs, INDOT Greenfield District Media Relations Director. “That’s when we open the contract for bidding.”
