Pendleton - The South Madison Community Foundation recently announced the six businesses that would be included in their special fundraising opportunity Match Day Dec. 12.

Community Outreach Intern Caitlin Evans said a number of local business and non-profit groups were asked to join Match Day, where anything donated toward their fund will be matched by the Foundation $2 to $1.

“In total we ended up having six businesses that confirmed that they would be participating,” Evans said. “We’re very excited about 12-12-12.”

Participating groups include the Pendleton Community Library, Pendleton Christian Church, Tri Kappa, Lapel Youth Commission, Pendleton Lions Club and the South Madison Youth Commission.
