East Elementary Schools recognized its recent Gold Level Math Masters.

EES earns more than $1K from box tops


East Elementary School families helped raise more than $1,000 for the school through the Box Tops For Education program.

Fourth-grade led the school with 3,830 box tops; First-grade brought in 2,680, and third-grade attracted 2,207 tops.


PES-I welcomes new staff


Pendleton Elementary School-Intermediate welcomed its new reading coach and fifth-grade teacher.

Wendy Simmons has moved out of fifth grade and is PES’s new reading coach.

Gay Klotz has taken Simmons’s room in fifth grade.


MRE recognizes Random Acts


Maple Ridge Elementary School congratulated the following individuals who were caught in an act of kindness this week: Science Night Volunteers, Chase Landis, Emma McHaffey, Delanie Fort, Reese Dixon, teacher Abby Schnepp, Lauren McLaughlin, and parent Cindy McLaughlin.


MRE spotlights bee participants


Maple Ridge Elementary School gave kudos to the following students who won their classroom spelling bee and participated in the Maple Ridge Spelling Bee Monday, Feb. 11: Kennedi Lee (Corn), Kalisea Francis (King), Gage Allison (Ray), Karley Sipes (Marler), Chloe Etchison (Oliver), Katelyn Flores (Warner), Abby Tuttle (Brown), Austin Messer (Hessler), Issac Street (Schnepp), Miles Jones (Diedrich), Grace Messler (Denny), John Skaggs (Habben) and Brittany Pleiman (Schellinger).
