Outdoor Lab seeks flowerpots
Pendleton
Anyone with unwanted empty flowerpots may consider dropping them off in front of the greenhouse at Pendleton Elementary School.
There are 29 individual beds that will be planted by students. They need care in the summer.
Also, people who could spend 30 minutes each week, PES would appreciate their help.

Location: Pendleton Heights High School main gym and simulcast in auditorium.
Time: 2 p.m. (doors open at 1 p.m.)
Date: Sunday, June 3
Seating Limitations: There are no seating limits at the PHHS commencement ceremony. Seating is on a first come first served basis.
Handicap seating: Seating for handicap guests can be reserved by contacting Joyce Daugherty at 765-778-2161 or by clicking on the following link. Handicap Seating Reservation. Reserve handicap seats by May 25.
Frequently Asked Questions
1. Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
Pictures can be taken from your seats during the ceremony. Guests are asked not to move closer to the stage area once the ceremony has started. A professional photographer will be taking a picture of each graduate at the time they receive their diplomas. These photographs will be available for purchase online.
2. What time can we enter the main gym for the ceremony?
The doors to the school for the general public will open at 1 p.m. It is suggested that you arrive no later than 1:30 p.m. to ensure that you will be seated before the ceremony starts.
3. How will I know which side of the gym to sit one to see my graduate?
All female graduates enter and exit the gym on the east side of the gym. All male graduates enter and exit on the west side of the gym. The only exception to this will be the class officers and any graduate who is earning a Summa Diploma. Those individual will be notified during commencement rehearsal, which side of the gym they will enter and exit on.
4. Will the commencement ceremony be video taped?
Yes, a professional video crew will be on site the day of commencement. A link to purchase a DVD of the commencement ceremony will be placed on the high school website the day after the ceremony.
