Senior Kisinger completes PH career, broke school record

Pendleton - Pendleton Heights senior Logan Kisinger represented the Arabians in the IHSAA Swimming and Diving State Finals at the IUPUI Natatorium.

Kisinger finished in 28th place in the 50 freestyle. This was Kisinger’s first trip to the state finals. He returned this year to competition after missing most of last season with a broken wrist. When he did return, Kisinger switched from distance to sprint events. This was the first year he swam the 50 freestyle in competition.

Before Kisinger traveled to Indianapolis for the state finals, he qualified on time in the sectional at Fishers High School. His time of 21.66 not only got him to the sectional finals, but it broke a 32-year old record held by John Saczawa. In the sectional finals two days later, Kisinger broke his own record with a 21.64.
