Pendleton - A new program focused on bringing families closer together using communication skills, helpful tools and conflict resolution techniques will start in Pendleton in April.

The Strengthening Families Program, hosted by Intersect, will meet for its first class at

5 p.m. Thursday, April 24.

Intersect Inc. is a coalition of community members representing schools, health care, faith-based organizations, and businesses. It formed in 2002 to address tobacco issues within Madison County. Intersect Inc. is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is “Promoting, encouraging, and empowering our community for healthy living.”
