Markleville - President of the Markleville-Adams Township Fire Territory Advisory Board said one fire and rescue truck will be pulled from service until issues about the title are resolved.
Dan Fesler told the Markleville Town Council Feb. 11 that he called for the equipment to be parked after learning a title had not been issued on the firetruck. It has been more than a year since the fire territory was formed in anticipation of state regulations to do away with the office of Township Trustees. That meant the Adams Township Volunteer Fire Department would no longer be overseen by the trustee.
