Pendleton - Pendleton Town Council members unanimously agreed to set up a fund for donations to a future project.
The fund would gather donations for 13 signs designed to highlight the historical importance of the community. The vote took place during the regularly scheduled meeting Feb. 7.
Vice President Robert Jones said the South Madison Community Foundation has agreed to work with the town after seeing how quickly money had accumulated for similar projects.
