Pendleton - With a little less than a minute to go, the five Arabians on the floor became all smiles with the realization that this one was theirs. Pendleton Heights had accomplished what many thought was the unexpected, taking their third straight sectional title by upending New Castle 58-44 at the New Castle Fieldhouse Saturday, March 2.Up until that final minute, the Arabians played with an intensity that rattled Richmond on Friday and deconstructed the Trojans in the championship game. What made it sweeter for team and fans alike — they were not even considered as one of the two favorites going into the tournament. But by the final game, the Arabians were considered a six-point favorite.
