Pendleton - A local business owner’s champion dog won big at the recent 137th Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. Eileen Hackett, co-owner of Pendleton Pens Pet Resort, and her English Setter, Trevor, took Best in Breed at the two-day, all-breed show that takes place annually at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

“When they announced his name, I was so excited,” Hackett said. “My adrenaline was definitely going.”

Business partner Kate Hanlon said she could “barely stand it” when the announcement was made.
