Pendleton - The Arabian wrestling team turned in a second-place finish at Saturday’s Tipton Invitational behind the strength of two champions and three runners-up.
Freshman Tyler Flood captured a second tournament championship to go with his Madison County title from last month. Flood scored a fall against Bradley Downing of Mississinewa in 2:26 to win the championship at 106 pounds. Flood was also runner-up at the 32-team Connersville Spartan Invitational during winter break and is emerging as a state contender at 106. Since entering the line-up in mid-December, Flood’s record is 11-2.
