Pendleton - The 2012-13 Arabian wrestling team may lack the star power of last year’s squad that included four-time IHSAA finalist and 2011 state champion Mason Todd and fellow senior state finalist Clint Nicholson, but it has proven to have more depth than its predecessor. After several successful outings this season, the Arabians (12-5) face a big test Dec. 15 in the Madison County Tournament at Pendleton Heights.
Coach Dave Cloud is cautiously optimistic about his team’s opportunity to show who’s the best in the county.
“We’ve got some guys injured right now, so it’s going to make it harder if we don’t have everybody back. They’ve been minor injuries, but it’s kept kids out of the line up.”
