Anna Marie Brown passed away peacefully Oct. 26, 2012, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Middletown.
She was born on March 26, 1932, in Salem, Ind., and was a Pendleton resident since 1960.
She was retired from Guide Division of GM, a member of UAW 663, and Past President of the UAW 663 Retirees Chapter.
She enjoyed collecting antiques, her flower gardens, and watching her grandchildren participate in sports.
Survivors include her two sons, Jay (Judy) Brown, and Jeff (Jackie) Brown of Pendleton; six grandchildren, Jason (Jenny) Brown, Jennifer (Paul) Hathcoat, Jacob Brown, Jackie (Josh) Rupp, Connor Brown, and Owen Brown; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Also a brother, William R. Barnard of Atlanta; and sister, Barbara Sue Reeves of Morgantown, KY.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Russell and Mary Barnard; husband of 58 years, Johnny Brown; and sister, Yvonne McManus.
The family would like to express their appreciation to the loving, generous staff at Miller’s Merry Manor in Middletown for their endless care.
Services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 29, 2012 at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, Pendleton, with Tom Wiles officiating. Burial followed in Grove Lawn Cemetery, Pendleton.
Visitation was from 3 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012, at Lahm Chapel, Pendleton.
