Frank H. Miller, 92, passed away Jan. 15, 2013, at the Rawlins House in Pendleton. He was born on Aug. 20, 1920, in Tipton County and was a longtime resident of Anderson later Crossville, Tenn. , for 15 years, and Seymour for 15 years.
Frank was employed by Guide Division of GM in Anderson for 36 years as a maintenance painter and buffer retiring in 1979. He was an Army veteran of World War Two and life member of the American Legion Post, Seymour. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Seymour; UAW Union Local 663 in Anderson; and served as a woods badge group adult leader for the Kikthawenund Council of the Boy Scouts from 1966 until 1972.
Survivors include his wife, Edith L. (Willis) Miller, whom he married July 25, 1943; three children, Kenneth L. Miller of Alexandria, Karen (Tony) Schlegelmilch of Anderson and Bill E. (Joanne L.) Miller of Fishers; 10 grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; 17 great -grandchildren; four great -stepgrandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Otis and Rachel Alice (Hickman) Miller; and siblings, Maggie Butler, Harold Miller, Lester Miller, Mary Martin, Mildred Gross, Verl Miller and Isabel Smith.
Visitation was held at 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 18,2013, at Lahm Chapel. Services were held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, 211 E. State St., Pendleton with Pastor Mike Seaney officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
