Easter fun

SOUTH MADISON COUNTY — The children didn’t seem to mind scrambling for eggs inside the Hardy Building instead of the park as weather forced the Kappa Delta Phi, Psi Phi Chapter annual Easter Egg Hunt indoors.

Attendance was down at the Saturday, March 24, event in Markleville, though, because of the weather, sorority President Linda Fesmire said.

Some area egg hunts were rescheduled because of the weather. Also, other hunts were already set for this weekend, including the Community Easter Egg Hunt in Pendleton, scheduled for 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 31, in Falls Park.

The Pendleton hunt is organized by Catalyst Church. There will be a D.J., petting zoo and inflatables.
