Constance Workman, 97, Anderson, died, Monday, April 18, 2011, at Alexandria Care Center following an extended illness.

She was born April 4, 1914, in Madison County, to George and Elnora (Nicholson) Hendricks.

She is survived by three sons, Jerry (wife, Barbara) Durant of Moonville; Wilbur D. (wife, Gail) Durant of Livingston, Tenn.; and Willis (wife, Evelyn) Durant of Anderson; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a greatgreat-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Glen Lee Durant; and her second husband, Joseph Workman.

A funeral service was at 11 a.m. Friday, April 22, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel, with the Rev. Bill Hilligoss officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Lapel. Visitation was from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, April 22, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 N. Main St., Lapel.
