Barbara Jean Ifert, age 83, of Ingalls, died on Sunday, May 1, 2011. Born on March 3, 1928, in Attica, Ind., she was the daughter of Roy and Margaret (Munson) Ault.
Surviving her are sons, James E. (Susan) Ifert of Ashland, Ky., Don Ifert of Pendleton; and one grandson.
Preceding her in death were her husband; parents; grandmother; brother, Burke Munson; and a sister, Esta L. Alenduff.
Funeral services will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 5, 2011, at Erlewein Mortuary in Fortville, with calling taking place for two hours prior to the service. An Order of the Eastern Star Service will take place at 12:40 p.m. Burial will take place at Mendon Cemetery.
