Thomas A. Ferguson, 81, Lapel, died Friday, Feb. 24, 2017, in St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital following a brief illness. He was born Sept. 30, 1935, in DuBois, Pennsylvania, to Perry A. and Hattie (Dent) Ferguson.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Margaret “Peg” (Johnson); a daughter, Tammy Blake of Anderson; two grandsons; two brothers, Perry (Bernie) Ferguson of Hermitage, Pennsylvania, and Ron (Beverly) Ferguson of DuBois, Pennsylvania; a brother-in-law, Robert Johnson of Brockport, Pennsylvania; and several nieces and nephews.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation was from 2 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, in Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 N. Main St., Lapel. A funeral service took place at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, at the funeral home with the Rev. Larry Bigham officiating. Burial will take place in Brockway, Pennsylvania at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Special Bowler’s League of Anderson.
