Arie “Jane” Curtis, 91, of Anderson, passed away on March 30, 2017, at the St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital. She was born on October 18, 1925, in Glasgow, Ky., and resided most of her life in Anderson.

Jane was a cafeteria manager for Anderson Community School System for 22 years. She was a Girl Scout leader, football team mom, camper and avid bingo player, but most importantly she loved to spend time with her family and friends especially her grandchildren.

Jane is survived by her loving children, George Earl Curtis and Peggy (Harold) Wolff; granddaughters, Amy (Delbert) Wright and Jennifer Daniels; great-grandchildren; Thomas, Chelsie, John, Amber, Jessica, Holden, and Carson; and great-great-grandchildren, Addie and Annabelle. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, John E. Curtis; parents, George and Myrtie Clark; and sisters, Minnie Ottersbach and Margaret Brown.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nursing staff at Rawlin’s House and St. Vincent’s for their care of mom.

Visitation will be held from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 5, at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W 53rd St. Anderson, IN. Services will follow visitation at 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. John Hackney officiating. Burial will take place in the Anderson Memorial Park.
