LAPEL — Sophomore Seth Baugh pitched six shutout innings and drove in two runs as Lapel pounded Clinton Central 9-0 Wednesday in a game added to the schedule earlier in the day.

Lapel put three runs on the board in the second inning and four more in the fifth in putting away Clinton Central in a battle of Bulldogs.

On the mound, Baugh did not walk or strike out a batter, allowing just three hits over six innings. He yielded to Devan Frank, who pitched a perfect seventh in relief. Baugh is now 2-1 on the season with an ERA of 1.24.

Offensively, Baugh and junior Satchell Wilson each drove in two runs, while junior Mason Gilley had two hits, including a double, with an RBI and three runs scored.

Lapel will travel to Sheridan Friday before hosting a double header with Knightstown Saturday morning at 10 a.m.
