MUNCIE–The Arabians may be young, inexperienced, and a bit inconsistent. But if Monday’s match at 19th ranked conference rival Delta is any indication, they aren’t a team anyone wants to see in their sectional bracket.

King had 14 kills and four blocks, but the Arabians dropped a five-set match to the Eagles by the slimmest of margins, 25-22, 12-25, 27-25, 25-27, 15-17.

Lanman had 10 kills and senior Brinkley Gary added nine kills and 15 digs. Hall led the Arabians with 26 digs and Dwiggins handed out 34 assists.

Senior Michelle Merryman chipped in two aces and 15 digs.

Delta improved to 18-5 on the season.
