INDIANAPOLIS — Greg Adams, an artisan from Lapel who makes handmade rustic willow furniture, will be among more than 110 visual and food artists displaying and selling his work at the Indiana Artisan Marketplace, April 6-7 in Expo Hall at the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center.

Indiana Artisan was established in 2008 to identify and support the business development of Hoosier entrepreneurs who create high-quality arts, crafts and foods.

Indiana Artisans include painters, beekeepers, woodworkers, winemakers, jewelry designers, weavers, makers of specialty cheeses and more.

Program manager Ros Demaree says, “An Indiana Artisan is a Hoosier recognized for careful attention to detail, knowledge of a craft and an entrepreneurial spirit. His or her talent contributes to Indiana’s reputation for quality work. Willow by Greg Adams is a perfect example of what is Indiana Artisan.”

Marketplace hours will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, April 6, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, April 7.

There’s an admission cost of $10 for people 15 and older ($8 at EventBrite.com).
