ANDERSON — Area poets Abby and Hanna Wilson, 11, have donated money through the streaming royalties of their poem “Little 500 Race” and a song they co-wrote with their aunt Nicole Winkler.

Proceeds benefit March Of Dimes and American Cancer Society. You can hear their poem and the song at soundclick.com/bands3/default.cfm?bandID=1387065.

They also have both poems “Little 500 Race” and “Racing Legend” published in a poetry book “Bards Against Hunger Indiana,” which can be purchased at amazon.com with the proceeds going to charity.

Abby and Hanna, with the help of Local Songwriter Steve Wallace, recently were involved with Anderson Mayor Thomas J. Brodrick Jr.’s effort to make Anderson a National Poetry Month (April) City.
