PENDLETON — Madison County Federal Credit Union recently opened a branch office at 3305 W. U.S. 36 W in Pendleton (in the Needler’s Shopping Plaza).

A grand opening celebration and ribbon cutting is planned in coming months.

The Pendleton branch offers a full range of banking services. Branch hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.

Banking services are also available online, including account opening, loan applications and loan closings.

“This new branch is an opportunity for us to serve the local community with a local credit union option at a convenient location,” said David Dodd, CEO of Madison County Federal Credit Union. “We’ve wanted to be in Pendleton for a long time, and we are excited to become an integral part of the community.”

Madison County Federal Credit Union was established in 1935. It has branch offices in Anderson, Edgewood and Elwood.

The credit union serves people who live, work, worship, attend school or volunteer in Madison County.

Members are considered part-owners of the locally owned and operated cooperative.
