PENLDETON — The Pendleton Artists Society at Gallery 119 has a new show, “For The Love Of Art,” set to run from Feb. 5 to March 3.
During a First Friday event from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Feb. 5, judge Samson Hunkler is set to announce winners.
Prizes are $75 for first place, $40 for second, $30 for third and $20 for People’s Choice Award.
The event is open to the public, who can vote for their favorite artwork for the People’s Choice Award.
Gallery 119 is located at 119 W. State St., Pendleton. It is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays.
The gallery has a store, and people can sign up there for art classes.

art exhibit opens
ANDERSON — Anderson Museum of Art seeks artists for its new exhibition “Live, Laugh, Love.”
The show aims to celebrate the beauty of where people live, the things that make them happy, and the people, experiences or items they love.
The exhibition will be open to the public through Feb. 21.
Artists selected as category winners will be given the opportunity to exhibit a collection of their work in the summer of 2021 at the museum.
