PENDLETON
Philip Noel Swank, 26, of Pendleton, passed away on May 2, 2021, after an extended illness. He was born on November 11, 1994, in Anderson, Indiana and resided most of his life in Pendleton.
Philip graduated from Pendleton Heights High School in Pendleton, Indiana.
He previously worked for Subway and Wendy’s of Pendleton.
He was a member of Madison Park Church of God, Anderson, Indiana. Philip was a very loving son.
Philip enjoyed the outdoors, hiking, swimming and soccer. He also enjoyed playing ping pong, table games and reading.
Philip is survived by his loving parents, Sheldon and Christine Swank; and brothers, Seth Swank, Mark (Becca) Swank, and David Swank. His nieces, Gracie and Olivia; and nephews, Silas, Levi and Owen Swank. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, and cousins whom all loved him very much. He has one remaining maternal grandmother living, Mary Belle Harless.
He was preceded in death by his loving grandparents, Rev. Richard Swank and Mary Swank; and maternal grandfather, Clarence Harless.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 8, 2021, 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd Street Anderson, IN.
A memorial service followed visitation at 3:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Jim Lyon officiating.
