Judith Elaine Brantlinger, 79, of Lapel, passed away Friday, July 23, 2021, at her residence in Lapel following an extended illness.

She was born on April 4, 1942, in Milan, Indiana to William Morin and Esther (Little) Morin.

Judy graduated from Lapel High School in 1960.

She retired in 1994 from Fort Benjamin Harrison as an administrative assistant, after her retirement she then went on to work for Walmart in Noblesville.

Judy was very involved with many different organizations throughout her community including; Lapel Lions Club, VFW Post 266, and the Madison County Ladies Auxiliary 40/8 Voiture 510. She also loved visiting Nashville, Tennessee to visit with her family and to stay at the Cornerstone INN.

She is survived by her three sons, William (Kerensa) Armendariz of Chicago, Philip Armendariz of Ft. Wayne and Tony Armendariz of Middletown. One brother, Dennis Morin and Laurie Gail of Lapel. Four grandchildren, Amanda, Elizabeth, Lance, and Levi. Two great-grandchildren, Auden Tribe and Mia Santiago.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert Brantlinger, and one grandchild, Logan Armendariz.

A Funeral Service was conducted on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at Hersberger-Bozell Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel, Indiana. Burial followed the service in Brookside Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
