PENDLETON — Robert “Bob” Lee Clendenen, 73, of Pendleton, passed away Oct. 29, 2021, at Community Hospital in Anderson. He was born May 1, 1948, in Warsaw to Robert and Emma (Pavey) Clendenen.
Robert retired from Central Indiana Western Railroad as a railroad engineer after 28 years of service. He enjoyed fishing and doing yardwork.
He is survived by his wife, Marsa (Burris) Clendenen of Pendleton; children Kimberly (Michael) Shirley of Lapel and Jason (Mindi) Clendenen, Christopher Clendenen, Casey Clendenen, and Grace Clendenen, all of Pendleton; 10 grandchildren; two great- grandchildren; mother Emma Ross; sister Debbie (David) Schronce; nieces and nephews; special friends Jim Lawyer and Mike Higginbotham; sister-in-law Terri Weaver; numerous other friends; and his special dog companions, Maggie and Sydney.
Robert was preceded in death by his father, Robert Clendenen; sister Linda Deleplane and grandmother Lettie Miller.
Services were set for 11 a.m. Wednesday at Wilson St. Pierre-Lahm Chapel Funeral Service & Crematory, 211 E. State St., Pendleton, IN 46064, with burial at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation was from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
