PENDLETON — Christmas celebrations continue this month in Pendleton at Falls Park, with displays lighted from dusk to dawn, as well as opportunities to support non-profit organizations.

There are about a dozen displays set up throughout the park, sponsored by a variety of organizations.

People can see the displays either on foot or by driving through.

Friends of Falls Park is serving hot cocoa at the park from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturdays, with a free-will offering benefitting a different non-profit each week, park office secretary Bobbi Cline said.

A special event is planned at the log cabin at the north entrance of the park on Dec. 12. From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Santa will be there to meet with children to discuss their wish lists.

Visitors to St. Nick will receive one free digital download picture with the option to purchase photo packages.

The Pendlton Heights High School band will be serving hot cocoa and cookies at no charge; it will be accepting free-will donations as well.
