PENDLETON — The Pendleton Heights Middle School boys swimming team capped off their best season in the past 25 years at the Hoosier Heritage Conference Junior High conference meet.

To close out an undefeated season, they ended a 24-year drought by winning the conference title.

Leading the way to the team victory were Jack Hutson, Evan Ray, Nathan Hollendonner and Connor Hessler.

The group took first-place in both the 200-yard medley relay and the 200 free relay, while setting new school records in both events.

Individually, Hollendonner set a new school record with a first-place finish in the 50 free.

Hollendonner, Ray, and Hutson led the way with four first-place finishes each. Conner Hessler added two first-place finishes.
