LAPEL — In his 13 years as the Bulldog tennis coach, Justin Coomer hasn’t had a team as deep as the 29 out to play this season, which includes a transfer student and a newcomer to the team.

“We have a lot of guys in contention for varsity spots,” Coomer said.

“We look to improve each day throughout the season and be playing our best when it comes to tournament time,” said Coomer. “We also have goals on winning the county and sectional tournaments.”

Last season’s record: 19-4, 2021, eighth consecutive Madison County title, ninth consecutive sectional title
