Michael N. Courtney, 60, of Pendleton died April 19, 2011, at St. John’s Medical Center in Anderson following his battle with cancer.
Survivors include his wife, Vanessa J. (Luttrell) Courtney whom he married on Dec. 29, 1973; two daughters, Jennifer Courtney and Jocelyn (Jared) Hays; two sisters, Martha (Jack) Headley and Marsha (Joe) Greer; two brothers, Rex (Casey) Courtney and Paul Courtney; several nieces; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Rex and Gladys Roline (Wuopio) Courtney.
Visitation was from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 23, at Lahm Chapel.
Services were at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 23, at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, Pendleton.
Memorial contributions may be made to Indiana University Simon Cancer Center for bladder cancer research.
