Jeffrey L. Coomer, 56, Lapel, died on Thursday, June 7, 2012, at Saint

Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis following an extended illness.

He was born on October 6, 1955, in Anderson, to James and Nell

(Herrell) Coomer.

He is survived by his son, Justin (Nichole) Coomer of Kokomo; two brothers, Blaine (Terri) Coomer of Indianapolis and Gary (Nancy) Coomer of Springboro, OH; and five nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a niece, Cory Clark.

Visitation was from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 9, 2012, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel. A memorial service was held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 9, 2012, with Pastor Ron Steege officiating. Private burial will be at Brookside Cemetery, Lapel at a later date.
