George E. Hallowell, 69, of Anderson died Aug. 4, 2012 at his residence.

Survivors include wife, Barbara (Phillips) Hallowell; children, G. Brandon (Janna) Hallowell of Greenville, Texas, Jeffrey S. Hallowell of Oklahoma City, and Jennifer (Kyle Walker) Hallowell of Indianapolis; stepsons, Robert Ginder of Westfield, Kelly J. (Marie) Ginder of Anderson and Kevin T. Ginder of Anderson; mother, Goldie M. (Shull) Hallowell of Pendleton; sister, Wanda (David) Lineberry of Pendleton; 11 grandchildren; and a great- granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by father, Edward B. Hallowell; and brother, David W. Hallowell.

Services were held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012, at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, Pendleton with Pastor Claude Creel officiating. Burial took place at Grove Lawn Cemetery. Visitation was from 2-8 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2012, and noon-1 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012 at Lahm Chapel, Pendleton.
