Frank Thomas Young, 62, Pendleton, died Sunday, March 3, 2013, at Community Hospital of Anderson, following an extended illness. He was born December 19, 1950, in Anderson, to Harry and Burnha (Dowden) Young.

He is survived by his mother, Burnha D. Young of Alexandria; one brother, Darrell (Faun) Young of Anderson; one sister, Judi Turpen of Anderson; 2 step-children, Melody Cook and Crystal Cook; and a close friend, Linda Cook.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Visitation will be from 1 – 3 p.m. March 7, 2013, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel. The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. March 7, 2013, with Pastor Gary McCaslin officiating.
