Maxine McDonald, 97, Pendleton, formerly of Anderson, died Sunday, April 14, 2013, at Rawlins House in Pendleton. She was born on May 25, 1915, in Alexandria, Ind., to William and Effie (Stephens) Jones.

She is survived by two children, Gary (Karen) McDonald and Marcia (Phil) Estep both of Anderson; two granddaughters, and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Loren McDonald.

A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Rev. Mark Helm officiating.  Burial will follow in Prairie Memorial Cemetery, Noblesville. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel.

The family would like to thank Fall Creek Retirement Village and Day Break for their kind care of Maxine.
