David H. Holding, 83, of Anderson, died Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013. He was born on Jan. 22, 1930, in Greenfield, to Harold and Doris (Warrum) Holding. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War.
He is survived by Donna Brannum Holding; four children, Steve (Cindy) Holding of Sylvania, Ohio, Le'Ann Holding of Middletown, Duke (Cathy) Brannum of Lapel, and Karen (John) Schoettmer of Lapel; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Betty Bankston; and an infant son, Roger Kent Holding.
A private family service will be held at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Rev. Jerry Snyder and Rev. Bill Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in East Maplewood Cemetery, Anderson. A Celebration of David’s life will be held at a later date.
