Virginia Ruth Hudson, 90, Lapel, died Monday, June 29, 2015. She was born on July 19, 1924, in West Plains, Mo., to Roydon and Iva (Harper) Fisher.

She is survived by four children, Linda (Bob) Turner of Anderson, Dale (Stephen) Costlow of Noblesville, Henry Hudson of Lapel and Susie (Bill) Smalley of Pendleton; six grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, of 50 years, Harley Dale Hudson; two brothers, Robert "Bud" Fisher and James Fisher and a great-granddaughter.

Visitation was from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday, July 2, 2015, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel. A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 2, 2015, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel. Burial followed in Brookside Cemetery, Lapel.
