Jacob Wayne “Jake” Key, 38, of Markleville died Dec. 29, 2016, at his home.
Survivors include his wife, Amy L. (Hendrick) Key; son Evan (Cynthia) Key; stepchildren Amber (James) Waymire, Derek Otto, Britain Fisher, Daylan Fisher and Emma Fisher; mother Sally (Ted) Brown; siblings Joshua Key, Jerry (Amanda) Key, Jill (Jason) Key, Jada (Eric) Shetterly, Jessica Key and Joseph Key; several other halfsiblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews; and one granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Harmon Key Sr.; and brother Jerry Harmon Key Jr.
Visitation was from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 4, at Lahm Chapel. Services took place at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 4, at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, Pendleton. Burial followed in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family.
