LAPEL — Lapel diver Keara Shelton completed a week of competition with two top-five finishes.

In a four-way meet with Fishers, Greenfield- Central and Fort Wayne Carroll, Shelton — the lone Lapel diver, who competes on Fishers’ swim team schedule — took third of 10 divers, scoring 216.30. In a Jan. 17 meet with Fishers and Noblesville, Shelton finished third with 211.40.

Will Morgan, the only Lapel swimmer, competes on Pendleton Heights’ schedule. He placed second in the 50- and 100-yard freestyle at a meet with Pendleton Heights and Mt. Vernon Jan. 19. At New Castle on Jan. 17, he was second in the 200 freestyle and the 100 backstroke.

Shelton competes at sectional starting Feb. 2 at Fishers.
