Arabians’ boys track outpaces Bishop Chatard

PENDLETON — The Pendleton Heights boys track and field team hosted Bishop Chatard High School Wednesday, April 12, and picked up an 89-42 win against the Trojans.

Sophomore Eli Pancol was a multiple winner for the Arabians, taking both the high jump and long jump events. Senior Dawson Farrer added another field event win with a season’s best 136-feet-11-inch throw in the discus.

The Arabians swept the hurdle events with Seth Ledford claiming first in the 110-meter event and Brody Hogan taking first in the 300.

Other winners for Pendleton Heights included Luke Upton in the 1,600- and 3,200-meter runs, Parker Jones in the 400, Milan Jones in the 800, and the team’s 4×800 and 4×400 relay teams.

The Arabian 4×100 relay team finished second, but ran a season’s best time, and the Jones win in the 400 was one of the state’s top 10 times.
