NOBLESVILLE — The Pendleton Heights boys track team picked up one event victory Tuesday at the Kent Graham Noblesville Relays and tied for fourth in the team scores at the seven-team event.

Wren Parker, Nolan Cauley, Milan Jones and Luke Upton won the 4×800-meter relay with a season’s best time of 8:12.80. This time puts the Arabians in the top-25 in the state for the 4×800 relay.

Center Grove won the event with 126 points, while the Arabians were tied with Plainfield with 72 points.

Sophomore Eli Pancol and senior Payton Huth each had several top-five finishes to help pace the Pendleton Heights effort.

Pancol was second in the high jump, fourth in the long jump, and was part of the 4×400 relay team — along with Thomas Quiroga, Milan Jones and Parker Jones — that placed fourth. Huth finished in a tie for second in the pole vault and joined Jordan Kirkpatrick, Dawson Miller and Brody Hogan to place fifth in the 800 sprint medley.

Two other relay teams had strong showings. Caleb Martin, Jayden Wenning, Caleb Harrington and Seth Leicht placed fourth in the 4×1,600 relay, while the 4×400 freshman relay team of Seth Ledford, Nate Spencer, Bennan Jones and Maverick Hamilton brought home a third-place result.

The Arabians will be back in action Thursday in the Hoosier Heritage Conference meet at Mt. Vernon High School.
