Leah P. Houghton, 42, died July 6, 2017, in a hospital in Aurora, Colorado of heart failure.

She was a loving mother, beloved daughter, sister and friend.

She is survived by her parents, Mary (Maynard) Powell of Middletown and Douglas Houghton (Carolyn) of Bomassen, Vermont; her sons, Andrew D. Houghton, 26, of Middletown, Zachary J. Hazen, 14 and Gabriel A. Hazen, 12, of Lapel and her brother, Douglas W. Houghton of Nashville, Tenn.

A private family memorial service will be held.
