PENDLETON–Thanks to a little help from the opponent, the Pendleton Heights boys soccer team has a little winning streak going.

Delta kicked the ball into their own net for the first goal of the game off a cross from Ethan Schitter and Schitter added a goal of his own later in the first half as the Arabians edged the Eagles 3-2 in Hoosier Heritage Conference play Thursday evening.

Pendleton Heights improved to 6-4 overall and 2-1 in the HHC with the win while Delta dropped to 4-3-1 and 1-3.

Abe Bohlsen added a third goal for the Arabians with assists coming from Brennan Jones and Drew DeLey.

The Pendleton Heights defense then pitched a shutout in the second half to preserve the victory.

The Arabians will host another HHC foe Monday when New Castle comes to town before traveling to Lawrence Central Tuesday.
