Karen Skinner, 73, of Pendleton passed away after an automobile accident March 15, 2018.

Karen was born April 16, 1944, in New Castle, the daughter of the late Ron and Helen Gustin.

She resided in Madison County most of her life, and besides being a homemaker, she had a passion for cars from a young age and enjoyed stock car racing at Anderson Speedway and IMS. She also enjoyed attending PHHS athletic events. She was a lover of animals and had a black Labrador.

She is survived by a son and daughter, Adam Skinner and Kandi (David) Homyak; three grandchildren, Noah, Zoe and Sophia Homyak; a sister, Connie Gustin; and her K-9 companion, Willow June.

Arrangements were entrusted to Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory Lahm Chapel, 211 East State St., Pendleton.
