Opal M. Robinson, 89, of Pendleton, went to be with the Lord Jesus on May 7, 2018.

She was born near Campbellsville, Kentucky on December 15, 1928.

She lived in Pendleton for 60 years and owned and operated Opal’s Hair Care Salon for 30 years, had a wonderful clientele, “thank you, all of you were great.” Opal attended Rock Church Assembly of God in Pendleton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William C. “Bill” Robinson; parents, Curtis and Dina Ruth (Blair) McDaniel; brother, Merlin McDaniel; and grandson, Scott Carpenter.

Survivors by children, Judy Kay (husband, Richard) Carpenter, Charlotte (husband, Stephen) Anderson, Glennie (wife, Sharon) Robinson and William Dale (wife, Dawn) Robinson; eight grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; a great great granddaughter; brother, Reverend Colin Gene (wife, Marilyn) McDaniel; sister-in-law, Jean McDaniel; and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at 12 noon, Thursday, May 10, 2018, at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, Pendleton with Reverend Tad Finch officiating. Burial followed in Grove Lawn Cemetery, Pendleton. Visitation was held two hours prior to services.
