Athletic department offers conditioning program
PENDLETON — A summer conditioning program for incoming fifth- to eighth-grade students in South Madison Community School Corp. is set to start June 11.
The program, sponsored by the Pendleton Heights High School Athletics Department, is open to all students — those who play sports and those who just want to get into better shape.
Workouts will take place from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Arabians strength coach Jed Richman designed the program. High school head wrestling coach and seventh-grade football coach Dave Cloud will run the program with assistance from other Pendleton Heights coaches.
Students should be in overall good health; any concerns should be addressed with a family physician before attending workouts.
There is no cost to participate in the program, and there will be no workouts the week of July 4.
Call Cloud at 765-610-8150 for more details.
